Mr Sébastien Moret received his Masters degree in law at the University of Fribourg in 2011 – with emphasis on “economy, contracts and patrimony”. He then worked for Fribourg’s cantonal Court administrative unit, drafting a large number of judgments in various areas of public law, among which spatial planning and building code (procedure for construction permit and permission to build), traffic law (driver’s license procedure), public markets law, use of State property and franchise. In 2012, Mr Sébastien Moret undertook a doctoral dissertation in criminal penalties at the University of Fribourg, under the supervision of Professor Nicolas Queloz. His defense is due this autumn.

Trained as a professionnal lawyer at Sulliger, Noël, Nguyen, Misteli, Bugnon & Vogel law firm in Lausanne, under the responsibility of a certified specialist in inheritance law, Mr Sébastien Moret also worked on complex cases involving real rights (easement, neighboring rights, land ownership and personal property), tenancy law as well as business contracts.
