Christian Jaccard previously worked as attorney-at-law in several law firms based in Geneva and Lausanne, including the law firm JM Crettaz in Geneva. His activities concerned important and complex criminal proceedings and international mutual assistance in criminal matters, as well as business and contract law.
In 2005, he founded his own law firm and since then he has been active in various areas of civil law (contract and companies law in particular) as well as criminal law, in particular international criminal law and economic criminal law, offering the benefit of his legal expertise to private, business and institutional clients.
Christian Jaccard has advised and represented as legal counsel both banks and Swiss and foreign companies in the context of international civil and criminal proceedings.
He is also the holder of a diploma in Forensic Sciences and Criminology (1992), and he worked in the School of Criminal Science of the University of Lausanne as an assistant of Prof. Pierre Margot. He specialised, in particular, in the expert examination of documents, including the scientific analysis of writings, signatures, inks, reprographic systems, etc.
Christian Jaccard continues to work, in parallel to his activity as a lawyer, as a forensic expert for various criminal and civil authorities, including the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), as well as for private clients.
